Requirement and infra setup for rolling out of power BI to production

Dear Team,

We have implemented power BI soltion POC with enterprise gateway installed on my desktop. My desktop has connectivity to all the datasources with which power BI source.

Now we want to rollout to this to production. I have some queries regarding the prod rollout

1. Where should I install enterprise gateway? do we need to have a server to get this installed and that should have connectivity to all datasource servers.

2. Internet connection is required in server for the power BI to work

3. What is the requiremnts for the server where enterprise gateway is running

One additional detail is that you need to ensure that machine is always online and running, otherwise your data will not refresh.
