Report filter/security based on user's department

Hi Friends,

I am newbie to PowerBI, we have a requirement, to create a report showing user only information from his/her department, this department is not from AD, is part of our financial dimension. When user login to PowerBI, report don't know the information, is there a way we can pass to the report to tell it filtering on department?
