Relative date filter and date slicer

It sounds like you want to use the slicer to achieve a selector effect instead of the filter.
For this scenario, I'd like to suggest you create an unconnected table and use it as the source of the slicer.
After these steps, you can write a measure formula to compare selected values and return the flag and use it on the 'visual level filter' to filter visual records.Applying a measure filter in Power BI - SQLBI
