Hi
To use the RDL migration tool for our SSRS to PBI migrations, I would like to create a client ID using the instructions here: https://github.com/microsoft/RdlMigration/tree/master?tab=readme-ov-file#client-id
I click on this link (https://dev.powerbi.com/apps ) , get redirected to another page where it asks me to sign in. I sign in but then get redirected to this page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-bi/developers with no action!
Am I missing any permission on Power BI to create "The Application Client ID" ? I am a Power BI Pro user with not much permission on the Azure portal side.
In another attempt, I used https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup to setup embedded for customers, signed in, selected "Read All Reports", "Read and Write all datasets" and "Read and Write all reports" options and clicked on Register. Here is the error I get:
"Error when regestering application: ERROR: Request returned Forbidden and graph API request id: 7ba11a8b-8e86-425a-b59c-fe82d029797e"
What's going on?

Hi @BaboliVache ,
The error message “Request returned Forbidden” typically indicates that the account you’re using to register the app doesn’t have the necessary permissions in Azure. You can refer the following links to register an application:

In addition, you can refer the following link to get the client id after you created the application successfully.
