Super UserPowerBI embedded reports showing multiplied values randomly in angular app
Hey guys,
I'm encountering a very strange issue:
I'm experiencing an inconsistent data display issue with Power BI reports embedded in an Angular application (embedding for customers).
Symptoms:
- Table values are sometimes doubled or tripled
- Example: A table with values [1, 5, 8] incorrectly shows as [2, 10, 16] or [3, 15, 24]
- The issue is inconsistent and appears randomly
Troubleshooting observations:
- Same report shows correct values when opened on different PCs
- Switching browsers sometimes resolves the issue, sometimes requires using a completely different PC to see correct data
Environment:
- Angular application
- Power BI embedded reports
- Multiple client environments affected
The random nature of the issue makes it difficult to debug, and it's causing significant customer complaints.
Has anyone encountered similar behavior? Looking for suggestions on what to check in either the embedding code or Power BI configuration.

The values in the table appearing as multiples is indeed a strange phenomenon, which makes me suspect that there might be an issue during parameter passing. Here is the relevant content I found, which I hope will be helpful to you:
1.As you mentioned, "sometimes you need to use a completely different PC to view the correct data," I suspect that during parameter passing, the values might not be fully overwritten, retaining previous values. You can try clearing the browser cache or using incognito mode to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, cached data can cause inconsistencies.
2.Are you using phased embedding? Phased embedding might slow down the report rendering speed. Here is a screenshot of the relevant documentation:

4.Finally, ensure that various software versions, such as the browser or Angular application, are up to date:

About point 1, yes we have tried but sometimes it's not enough.
About point 3 of course we use only those browsers.
