Hi,
I am wanting to create a series of reports/dashboards online that are refreshable.
Ultimately I want the ability to create an app for my business that I can update and that my board can then see those changes and consume the data.
I am new to the product but have already created a gateway and done some work in power bi desktop, but when I try to replicate this online I am unable to do so. I tried to open the powerbi desktop save file in th eonline platform, which did work, but wouldn't update due to needing a personal gateway...
So I guess my question is, how I ustilise my organization gateway, with configured data sources, Online so that they are refreshable and I can package them into an APP. I have been scouring the powerbi documentation but have so far come up short.
Thanks

I'm not clear on your question. For refreshing data, there're quite approaches, besides gateway. What do you mean "package them into an APP"?
Sorry I should have been clearer.
I use want to use SQL Views (from my local SQL Server), and ODATA from my NAV installation.
I think I have now figured out the ODATA stream. I need to set up AD Sync between my Azure 365 account and my internal AD then this should work. I am still unsure of how to consume the SQL datasource in PowerBI online.
In regards to the 'App', I want to create a series of reports and dashboards and be able to distribute them to other people in my organisation.
I hope this clears things up a little
Thanks for your assistance
