Power BI/Power Automate - display a specific visualization in an email

Hi -

I have been reading articles about the use of Power Automate and Power BI.

What I am specifically looking to do is have an email sent out with either a specific couple of visualizations (bar chart, line chart, etc...) either within the email and/or PDF file.

Any thoughts in accomplishing this ? Jerry

Hi  @jerryr125 ,

Based on my research and searches, you could try using Power Automate to manually trigger the stream and add this action "Export to file for Power BI reports"

Then you can choose to include these visual reports and the corresponding workspace, for this workspace, there is a capacity limit, cannot support the trial capacity, and At least one workspace in your Power BI tenant backed by a reserved capacity. capacity can be any of the A1/EM1 - A6/P3 SKUs, please refer to this official document for details.

Export and email a report with Power Automate - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

  • At least one workspace in your Power BI tenant backed by a reserved capacity. This capacity can be any of the A1/EM1 - A6/P3 SKUs. Read more about reserved capacities in Power BI Premium.
  • Access to the standard connectors in Power Automate which come with any Office 365 subscription.

Put your desired visuals on a single report page and then in Power Automate request an export for just that page.
