Power BI Gateway

Hi All,

As of now I used to have all my data sources on cloud and hence refreshing the dataset was never an issue.

But now i have a situation where I have some reports whose data source is an on-premise source.

Also, I'm the only person creating reports and publishing it to the service. I have the admin permissions as well on Azure for Power BI.

Now since I've never used Gateway before I want to know which gateway I should go for and how to configure it.

If you have one or more on-prem VMs that you can use as gateway then go for the Standard/Enterprise gateway.  If you only have your own PC then go for the Personal gateway but know that the gateway will only work while your PC is on.
