Power BI Embedded with pbix file created with data from BlobStorage

Hi there,

 

I have a power BI report in Power BI desktop with data from Azure BlobStorage, and I want to add this to an application with Power BI Embedded. I can't seem to get this to work. Is this combination even possible?

    Petra_Rosenboom What do you mean by "I can't seem to get this to work". Are you facing a specific problem. I have never done this but my understanding is that with power bi embedded you import pbix file into your azure workspace and access it via your application. So if your pbix file is connecting to Azure blog storage and since it is an online data source you also don't need gateway and it should refresh itself. I would point you to this article to get started with Power BI Embedded.

      ankitpatira My question was whether Azure BlobStorage is supported as a data source, since I see on the FAQ page of Azure the following statement: 

      We are going to support access to cloud data sources that use basic credentials via Direct Query. This means that sources such as Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL DW are supported right now.
