Power BI Embedded using On Premise Gateway Sql Server data source

Hi,

We have installed the on premise gateway and added our sql server to gateway data sources. and the test connection is working well.

how can we set the report to use on premise gateway sql server data source in the power bi dekstop designer.

We are trying the power BI embedded reports with On Premise Gateway Sql Server Data Source.

To use on premise gateway with power bi embedded do we need a Power BI Pro License?

Did youo find a solution for this scenario? I´m facing the same issue, it seems that PowerBI embedded only works with DirectQuery which only works with SQL Databse online aka Azure database (OnCloud)

No i did not find any solution. we are just using the azure database at present. It is in the to do list of power bi team.

Currently,Power BI Embedded doesn't support direct query/scheduled refresh for on-premise databases
