Cross posting from Developer forum, maybe I could get someone to look at it here?
Can you populate column descriptions and table tooltips information in Power BI via the Odata service document?
E.g. using Core.Description Annotation terms?
There seems to be something available for Common Data Model/Manifest model.json/manifest.json files as pbi:mappingDisplayHint but is there anything for odata?

HI @Anonymous,
AFAIK, the current power bi only gets the data table based on the OData connector.
If you want to show these description fields, you can add a custom table in your database with table fields and description mappings.

Thanks maybe look into editing a pbit template file instead.
