Hello,
I am looking to create a new Sharepoint Intranet with the basis being that each user that enters the landing page is able to see pertinent Power BI reports that are only relevant to them. Which report is shown for who would be based on dynamic distribution groups in 365. Anyone done this before or have any insights into how it might be accomplished most efficiently?
The Power BI Web Part allows for showing Paginated Reporting but there is no way to do audience targeting there, is this something that can be accomplished with Embedding via a code snippet?
Any insight would be extremely helpful.
Thanks
Hi @LynchC-MVA ,
Please review the following official documentation and check whether that is what you want.
Implementing row-level security in embedded paginated reports
1. Assign a parameter to the UserID attribute. This parameter will restrict the data pulled from the dataset, before the report is embedded
2. Using the filter
Best Regards
