We are trying to run a powerbi dashboard based on data passed in the URL. We have been successful in testing passing in a parameter that would filter the dataset. Our issue using filtering is that what we need to filter, the dataset would be large and ultimately very slow for what we need.
We would love to pass in the data value in the URL and that value be used in the query that would get the data to display.
Any ideas or advice on how we can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
