Passing date slicer to power bi oracle query

Can anyone help on the below request.

 

I have a date slicer and need to pass those values to my query.

That is only possible in Direct Query connection mode.

Please help to explain how it can be done.

 

Also is there any way to remove top and bottom N rows based on total number of rows returned.
