Passing a external parameter from a webapp/.CORE into a Report

Hi,

We are currently overhauling our reporting system into Power BI and currently end users input information from a date picker and dropdown list to filter there report which gets exported via SSRS. Is it at all possible to pass those same parameters from the webapp or from CORE to be inputted to the report to be exported. We are also embedding PowerBI into the web apps aswell.

Any help with this or insight would be fantastic.
