I am displaying the map visual horizontally across the entire page. The issue is the continents repeat. Is there any way to not show repeat land masses?

Hi @molinamike ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.
I have tried with sample data in Azure map visual. Please refer below snaps.
It is working for me. The continents are not repeating.
Please try below alternative workarounds.
1. Even with Auto Zoom turned off, you can manually zoom and pan the map to center it on a single instance of the world map. This helps reduce or eliminate the repeated continents.
2. Please switch to a Shape Map or Filled Map visual and use a custom background image of the world map that doesn’t repeat. This gives you full control over the appearance.
3. Please use custom visuals like Icon Map or Mapbox Visual offer more control over map behavior, including disabling tile repetition. These visuals often support custom basemaps and better layout control.
4. Please modify the Aspect Ratio, Slightly reduce the width or increase the height of the visual.
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
Regards,
Dinesh

Thank you for the response and idea of custom background.
Yes, I turned off auto zoom and tried a few other tips I saw. Obviously I can reduce the size of the map and that will eliminate the overlap but the customer wants the size of the map to remain.
Did you try turning 'Auto-zoom' off as mentioned in this post?
