PBIX and/or PBIT file format

Since there is currently no way of easily updating all the reports built on one template, I am thinking writing myself a tool, which could generate PBIX files by supplying PBIT and Data Source parameters. I figured out PBIT and PBIX are simple ZIP files, yet within it there are files which I don't know how to work with (MACBIN II). So I am stuck...

Any ideas?

There's no way to create pbix programmatically, you can check this idea and vote it up.

By the way, what you're trying to do when saying "there is currently no way of easily updating all the reports built on one template".
