Optimizing performance of Power BI

Currently working with a very large dataset that is constantly growing and looking for ways to optimize our enterprise’s power BI performance. Specifically looking to get these questions answered and any other tips that may help:

• How to make Power BI refreshes faster
• Ways to save storage space on Power BI without limiting the data I have
• How to improve performance of Power BI
• How to solve the memory consumption 
• PBI data gateways has a lot of capabilities but not sure how to implement functionality?
• Currently using start date as a parameter to constrict data. Any other ideas for parameters we can use to constrict data?
