Hi,
How can I navigate between several pages of a report using a hyperlink?
Basically, I want to set some filters on a report which I have to pass via a hyperlink.
Currently when I append the report name with ...?filter=... the page opens in a new window.
I'd like the new page to open in the same window and also have a back button which could navigate back to the original page.
How can I achieve this? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
I met my requirements using a DrillThrough.
Hope this helps someone !
Is there any reason you cannot use bookmarks?
The idea is that I have a common chart in a page of the report.
In another page, let me call it loosely a dashboard, I have some buttons where some information via a filter is stored in the form of a hyperlink. All works, except the launch and the back button.
So the link would look like
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/.../reports/.../?filter=tablename>/<columnname eq 'search string'
To add a little clarification, the idea behind being able to open the in the same report window (and the same tab of the browser) is so that the Back button functionality is available.
@Greg_Deckler \ anyone ?

As you did? Thanks.
Could you please explain how you accomplished this task?
I'm trying to build a similar solution - report with the action buttons and action linked to the web URL of the other Power BI reports. Need to use back button to come back to this Power Bi report - separate reports and pbix files.
Hi, have you found any solution? Thx
Naw.. nothing as yet.. nothing works. I guess the solution isn't ready as yet.
Hi Anna,
Am not sure of your specific requirements, but what I needed was something that a drillthrough provided.
You can find more about it here

Hey,

Thanks,

I was able to accomplish the app like experience to consolidate all the Power BI reports and Dashboards with the naviation using the Power BI Service - apps. Nice feature.
