On Premise Data Gateway

I have created a On-Premise data gateway on a SQL server and i can se ein power bi portal that the gateway is present.  I have created a dataset under this gateway from the manage Gateway section.  

 

I have also created a workspace ont he portal but i so not have my dataset present in here. 

 

Ho do i utilise the on prem data gateway datasources in my Power BI Desktop app.

    The gateway datasources are for when you publish your report to the Power BI service.

    When you publish the report go to the workspace wherre it was published. From there look at the datasets. The dataset will have the same name as your report. When you have found the dataset go to the settings of that dataset and look under Gateway connections. here you can connect the dataset to use the gateway connection/datasource that you created.

    Be careful that th connection you used in the desktop must be exactly the same as you used when creating the connection on the gateway.
