Need to put date on the x-axis of a stacked bar chart

I need to put the date on the x-axis of a stacked bar chart. When I pull in the date it gets pulled in as a count of it.

I believe something similar is trying to be accomplished in this community post.

This should be a fairly common use case for project management, especially in the construction domain where the state of the project changes across a timeline.

The Gantt chart does not suffice our clients' needs.

Any other visual you recommend exploring?

 I have already explored most of the Gannt charts- Xviz, Powergantt, Acterys, Lingaro, Microsoft Gantt.
