We have applied security in SSAS cube and while adding role to user in cube it's working fine. But while loading SSAS cube in to Power BI we are able to see total data . How can we restrict the data coming from cube in to Power BI.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please make sure you are using a Live connection and check this document.
Based on the effective user name request, Analysis Services converts the request to the actual credential after querying the local Active Directory. Once Analysis Services gets the credential, Analysis Services returns the data the user has permission to view and access.
What you need to pay attention to is whether the user credentials for logging in to power Bi have the correct role permissions in SSAS.
Best Regards,
Liang
