    Hi Fredicare ,

     

    I think your issue maybe caused by relationship and Row-Level-Security(RLS).

Thank you for your response.

Here are the details regarding the issue:

  1. Is this error for a specific report or all reports?

    • This error occurs for a specific report only. Other reports work without issues.

  2. What kind of method do you choose for Power BI Embedded, app owns data or user owns data?

    • We are using the App Owns Data model for Power BI Embedded.

  3. What kind of connection mode are you using in your report, Import/Direct Query/Live connection?

    • The connection mode for the report is Import.

  4. Do you configure RLS in your Power BI Embedded Report?

    • Yes, we are using Row-Level Security (RLS) in the report.

Your question about RLS got me thinking, and it helped me narrow down the issue. I was able to reproduce the Multiple Join Paths error in Power BI Desktop by using the "View as" feature to simulate RLS. This strongly suggests that the problem is related to RLS in my model.
