MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt older versions will break during login

Hi Everyone,

i got a mail on Microsoft PowerBI Management updation.

To know which version my comapany is using i checked with the provided command.

PS C:\windows\system32> Find-Module -Name MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt

and got this error in respond ie, "File module isnot recognized as the name of cmdlet....."

So its might be possible that my organisation has never installed this MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt.

So here i have some question,

Is that reminder mail on upgradation to new version PBIMgmt are for those who have installed the older version or for everyone ?

is there any other command to know whether my organisation is using MicrosoftPowerBIMgmt or not and if yes then which version ??

Will it impact to my organisation, if we wont installed that ??

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

It seems like you haven't installed the prerequisites model that functions required. I double-check the corresponding documents and found the 'Find-Module' function is a child function of the PowerShellGet module.

PowerShellGet Module - PowerShell | Microsoft Docs

For his scenario, I'd like to suggest install the module package before you invoke its functions.
