Unfortunately, Microsoft Analysis Services Projects 2022 extension doesn’t support Visual Studio 2022 ARM64, it only supports Visual Studio 2022 x64.

I have exactly the same issue in VS 2022 for Win 10 pro. Same exact error.
Can't find a solution anywhere.
Found a fix to the issue. The VSIX wasn't installing because it didn't have the right permissions. When I did what this post suggested (ran the VSIX from Powershell in Admin mode) it worked fine.
@dkpmfa unfortunately, it doesn't work for arm 64. I have tried and got the same error.

HI @technolog,
I think these should more related to Visual studio and Analysis services project usages, perhaps you can post this to related forums to get further support.

Xiaoxin Sheng
And by the way, it would be cool if we added a separate topic on tabular models. I see that questions in this area are often posted in various unrelated topics.
@Anonymous you are right, I will try in another place.
