Kafka with Power BI Server

Hi,

I would like to to use Power BI with Kafka but it's on-premises, and I'm using Power BI Server

Is there a way to establish a connection between the both? Or is it only possible with Power BI services?

HI @Cookistador ,

If this data source are host on the on premises servers, you should config or deploy proxy/VPN settings on your device to mapping these networks and help power bi access and getting data from the remote data source.

If power bi does not include the official data connector of this type data source, you can try to check other type of data driver/providers that the data source supported with corresponds connection strings.
