Is it possible to use a custom visual with a streaming data set?

When you choose add tile in a report, then select Real time data and a stream, there are only a few visuals to choose from.

Is it possible (or in the roadmap) to use a custom visual with a real time data stream?

If it will be, when can we expect this?
