Is it possible to extend grid to include repaeting image for background and interaction capability

Hi,

I need help to customize a grid with a repeating image (a png/ jpeg) for the entire row. There is no conditional formatting.  In addition, it needs to have capability to interact with other visuals. Clicking on a row should filter data corresponding to the column in other visuals. 

It would be great if you can provide a link to a custom visual with such capability.

I m also not sure how to get source code for the grid control.

I m new to Power BI and do not have any idea on typeScript/ JS.

Any help or a comment on its feasibility would also be very much appreciated.

It is essential to master TypeScript. You may follow the tutorial to create the custom visual. As for the capability to interact with other visuals , see Adding Selection and Interaction with Other Visuals.
