Is it possible to disable the formatting?

Hi,

I'm looking for disable settings for formatting
For example, if it is not set in the hint field, I want to prevent it from being selected.

↓Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Anonymous,

What type of disabling you mean? Remove data color formatting options or remove the detail color settings?

If you mean the format option, it is the basic part of the formatting option, you cant do custom to disable it.

If you mean the detailed data color setting of each data label, it is possible. You can enable conditional color formatting on data color, then this option will show the formatting based on expression instead of showing the detailed color settings.

        HI Anonymous,

For this scenario, you can try to do the following steps to improve the usage of power bi visuals:
        1. Submit an idea to add support to turn on/off the color formatting options on raw visuals.
        2. Design a custom visual that similar to raw visuals, then you can remove the color formatting parts when you coding the formula.
