Is Azure needed for Powerbi Embedded with Powerbi Premium
Hi,
To use Powerbi Embedded with Powerbi Premium does the application we are embedding the powerbi report into need to be hosted on Azure? If it does, is this an additional cost from the monthly fee for Powerbi Premium or is it included within Powerbi Premium capacity?

Generally, Power BI Embedded, hosted in Azure, and Power Premium both are a kind of capacity. They surely have differences. Please refer to #what-is-the-difference-between.
The Azure is also needed to provide the tenant, which is Azure Active Directory actually.
In your case, I think the Power BI Premium is enough to provide the capacity. Please also refer to embedded-faq#what-is-the-microsoft-recommendation-for-when-a-customer-should-buy-power-bi-premium-vs-power-bi-embedded.
