Hi @SaiManjunathG,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.
integrating self-service BI into a MEAN stack application using Power BI is achievable with some architectural planning. While Power BI Embedded is primarily designed for report consumption, you can enable self-service capabilities by embedding reports in “Edit” mode, allowing authorized users to modify existing reports directly within the app. To support report creation, you can share curated datasets from Power BI Service, enabling users to build their own reports externally and then embed them. For deeper self-service, you can develop a custom reporting interface within your Angular frontend, allowing users to explore data through drag-and-drop interactions. Key considerations include ensuring proper licensing (Pro, PPU, or Premium), enforcing security with Row-Level Security and Azure AD, and maintaining governance through curated datasets and user activity monitoring.
If you found this response helpful, please consider marking it as the accepted solution and giving it a thumbs-up to assist others in the community.
