Integrate ChatGPT with reports in service

Dear All,

id like to integrate chatGPT with my reports stored in service so I can chat with ChatGPT and ask questions regarding my data.

Hi @powerbricco, 

I could only think of a way to incorporate ChatGPT with its API and you make use of User Data Functions in the report to chat and get answers back into the report. 

Just curious why it needs to be chatGPT specifically?

What Fabric offers out of the box is the Copilot integration where you can also chat with your data. An in addition you are able to create so called Data Agents where you can specify the capabilities of the agent even more for your need (like only specific data sources, specific instructions with business context and the data itself). If you want a chat with your data experience I recommend going for these two options.

Oooohhhh thanks so much. Is it difficult or expensive to set up a fabric data agent for chatting with your model in microsoft teams?

Sure 🙂

Expensive no, all you need is a Fabric Capacity (this could be expensive if its a big one 🙂 ).

Then you can integrate in MS Teams like shown here: Consume a data agent from Microsoft 365 Copilot (preview) - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
