Implications about turning on XMLA Endpoint

Wishing all the best for the new year. Now back to the daily grind.

We are using a premium capacity and I have been reading about the things that an xmla endpoint can offer for us, the features and issues it helps to resolve. So right now, I want a build a strong case to switch this feature on our tenant, but since this is a global change I need to provide strong support. Microsoft documentation serves as a good foundation as to the good things it can do. However, I want to learn about thing I need to consider carefully before committing to turn on this endpoint.

Does anyone know about implications or things to look out for when performing this change into my own and other colleagues/business areas workspaces that I need to be aware of ?
