How to retrieve accurate usage statistics

Hello

We have developed some scripts that extract the activity events, using power shell scripts, and then load the data into a local SQL Server database.

We are hoping to then develop a Power BI report, showing usage statistics, for example, by report.

The issue I'm finding is that there could be multiple ViewReports entries, for the same report and user, over a short period of time. I have just been looking at some data, and there are 4 records for the same user, viewing the same report, within 2 minutes. I would like this to count as one view and not 4. Unfortunately there is not an operation, that I can see called "OpenReport".

If we can get that solved, then the next step would be whether we could count page views, like the data shown in the metrics report for each report.

Thanks

Define "accurate" - what if the events happen in a 10 minute span (rather than 2 minutes) ?

Agree on the page level details - they have been missing from the audit logs since the very beginning, and Microsoft doesn't seem to be interested in adding these. Vote for the idea.
