How can I persist data generated while viewing the report? For instance the active selection (highlight) or just some interactive setting made by the viewer (chart mode or something)?
When the data is handled by "host.persistProperties()" while in reading view, the next call to update() contains the changed data, but it doesn't survive a reload. Which makes sense - most of the time. Is there a special "readerProperties" object or similar, maybe, which is unique to the user?
PBI doesn't allow to change visual's settings in Read Mode.
Please use Edit Mode to modify settings instead.
As far as I know, the ability to change settings in Read mode is in backlog but we can not share any ETA.
