How to pass the slicer selection to the sql stored procedure

Hi,

Anyone suggest how to pass the slicer selection to sql stored procedure. i have implemented this is cognos. We need to use macros for that.

But in power bi if we use parameters, after publishing it to service we go to dataset properties to edit parameter. but user point of view if they select a slicer that value should be passed to the sql SP and return the results.
