How to hide this icon in custom my visual?

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble with an icon that appears in the app (image attached below). I can't find any information on how to hide this icon. This icon appears in the corner of the screen and it is a bit distracting.

Does anyone know how to hide or disable this icon? I would really appreciate any help!

Thank you so much!

Hi @DavidAnthony,
The badge that gets displayed is a Certified Visual badge, which automatically gets displayed when you're utilizing a certified visual that you downloaded from AppSource. This badge is meant to show that the visual has passed Microsoft's security, quality, and performance inspections. Unfortunately, Power BI currently does not include a built-in feature to get rid of or hide this badge for certified visuals, and it gets displayed by design.

Hi @DavidAnthony,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.

Thanks for your question and for sharing the image based on your description and the icon shown, it appears you're referring to the Certified Visual badge that appears in the corner of your custom visual.

This badge typically appears on certified visuals published through AppSource, not on custom visuals developed and imported manually. If you're developing your own visual or using a custom .pbiviz file, this icon should not appear unless:

  • You're using a visual that was originally downloaded from AppSource and certified.
  • Or the icon is part of the visual’s layout or was inadvertently included in the visual’s source files.
