Hello @anmolmalviya05 , and thank you for raising your questions withing the Fabric Community Forums.

Assume you have considered the following primer advice. However, it is a start towards a working report.

To import your YouTube channel data directly into Power BI for analysis, you have largely three general options:

  • Without an API Key (gather information at the feed level)
  • With an API Key to directly import data into Power BI
(requires creating a project and an API Key on the Google Developers Console)
  • Custom connector that connects to YouTube Analytics

Choose the method that best suits your needs and technical comfort level. The first method is simpler and doesn’t require an API key, while the second method, with an API key, provides more comprehensive data through the YouTube Data API, giving you a deeper understanding of your YouTube channel. The third option is more advanced and suitable if you’re comfortable working with custom connectors.

Hi @anmolmalviya05  You can connect directly to the YT API as there's no native connector for PBI, but you would need quite some technical knowledge to do this. Using external connectors could help too. I used Supermetrics to connect my YT data but currently I use windsor.ai , there are many more options out there but using an external connector seems like the best option. Hope this helps!
