How to force custom connectors to use Edge (Chromium) for OAuth authentication in Power BI Desktop?

Hello, I am trying to find information on how to make our published custom connector no longer use Interenet Explorer 11. In this article, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/oauth-edge-chromium

There are some connectors that only use Microsoft Edge WebView2 and am looking to use this as well by default. Based on this article you can pass set certain environmental variables, however I would like it to be used by default similar to the other apps listed.

I was informed by a representative that this will be default in October release.
