How to control report page navigations using custom visuals?

In PBI there is a provision to add page navigation on a button to navigate from one page to another page in a report. Is there a provision to achieve the same from a custom visual through formatting interface without using existing PBI buttons?

As dm-p said, current custom visual API hasn't released these types of operations.
You cant design a custom visual with actions of redirection or navigation to interact with the report pages similar to the button or bookmark do.

There's currently no API for handling navigation from within custom visuals, although if would be pretty cool if there was 🙂

I'd suggest adding an idea in the repo for this to see if the team can address.
