Helper IHow to change legend marker shape in Line and Column chart

I have checked your sample, and I think the reason is as you said that Current is in Column Field in your visual. I think shape funtion could only change the shape of line part in "Line and Cluster Column" chart. This function aims to distinguish the line and column part in Legend. I couldn't find a function to change the shape of column part as well. You see that if I add Product ID in Column series, Legend for column part will all show in circle.
If you want the line and column part to show the same shape, I suggest you to change the shape in line part to circle.
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI: Idea.

By adding an extra measure to the Line Values area, certainly shows the Customize Series option. However it only allows you to change the marker/shape for the the Line values and not for the column values which is what I'm after.
I don't think there's anything that can be done. I sincerely appreciate your efforts, Greg.

Could you share a easy sample without any sensitive data with us? We need to know your data model and your visual format. This may make it easier for us to find the reason.
