    Hi KR300 ,

    As Ibendlin said, there is no way to apply conditional formatting directly to the slicer. You can create a table visual and apply conditional formatting to it to fulfill your needs. The steps are as follows:
    1. Create the following measure

    Conditional formatting =
    VAR _selid =
        SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[ID] )
    VAR _maxid =
        CALCULATE ( MAX ( 'Table'[ID] ), ALL ( 'Table' ) )
    RETURN
        IF ( _selid = _maxid, "Green" )

    2. Create a table visual and go to the filter panel and set it up as shown below.

    3. Apply conditional formatting to the above table visual.

    Best Regards

    KR300 Please confirm: do you really need a slicer with just one value on it? can it be resolved with another type of visualization object? If so, I suggest to build the Latest Value measure shown below and used in a CARD (and formatting as needed)

    Latest Value =
    	SELECTCOLUMNS(
    		FILTER(
    			'Table',
    			'Table'[ID] = MAX('Table'[ID])
    		),
    		'Table'[Name]
    	)
