Hi,
We are currently doing some research around embedding Power BI and we came across an error that basically is saying that the user we are using for the ocnnectivity must be a Gateway Administrator.
How do we make the user in question a gateway administrator? Is it as simple as just starting the gateway configurator and loging in with the user in question?
Would that change any of the settings we have for existing on-prem datasets?

Hi @pmdci,

To add additional admins for an existing on-premises gateway, you can go to the administrator’s tab to add the user to the administrator list by managing gateway on Power BI service.
Would that change any of the settings we have for existing on-prem datasets?
I don't think it would change other existing settings.
