How connect Power BI with VPN file system?

Hello,

 

I would like to ask how I could connect Power BI with vpn file system in server. That contains files not database.

Also observed that many files are encoded in DAT file type. Maybe possible to decode?

    Hi Analitika 

     

    You can use on-premisese gateway to access file on VPN or onpremises file server. Regarding dat file, i have worked on them and they can be read in notepad so shouldn't be an issue in reading them.
