Hello Anonymous , workarounds provided above does not fulfils our requirement - embedded powerbi report users need the functionality to delete a page indepandantly in any report.

I tried with the setActive() javascript changes which is proposed above , but that just sets the initial first page load in report as needed, but does not fix the delete page bug. It does not fits for the workaround for us. Thanks ! Awaiting further update around what we can try next or what is the plan around fix for this bug from PowerBi side.
