First time using Dev API Documentation - How do I find website to call?

Hi - this is my first time using developer documentation to direct query a website using API calls.

From what I understand, I'm supposed to Get Data via Web and then add my API credentials, but I don't know what website to call. Can someone tell me how I might find that?  

Below are some samples of the documentation, should that help.
