Filtering not applying once Power BI is embedded into another web platform

I have applied filters to a page on Power BI Desktop which displays a list of names in a table of only people from 1 particular group. 

 

Once I publish this to Power BI Online the filtering stays which is great.

 

Once I embed this report from Power BI Online into another web platform the filtering seems to stop working everyone appears in the table instead of just the people from the filtered group.

    Hi justinabalch 

    This sounds like a Row-Level-Security issue (potentially).

    Do you have RLS enabled on this report?

    If so... are you embedding using the 'App owns data' or 'User owns data' method of embedding?
