Fabric Capacities & PBIP & compatibility with PowerBI Rest API
Deku - thanks ! Thats what I was expecting.
Have you dealt before with a switch from the PBI API for PBIX to Fabric API and PBIP ?
Wondering if there are anything that is critical to know before starting such a transition.

I've only used the pbi API via pbitools
Fabric API have been mostly painless. No problems with TMDL, some funny edge cases with PBIR. If you stick with report.json and model.bim you should be fine

thats interesting about PBIR. Mind if I ask you what were those edge cases?

I am also using the same approach you shared I am talking only these 3 files from the path directory:
Collected 3 parts from .Reportdefinition.pbirreport.jsonStaticResources/SharedResources/BaseThemes/CY24SU10.json
also in my payload I am passing the semantic model ID "by Connection" then calling the invoking the API with access token and external semantic model id attached to it. It shows report deployed prints the report ID but in the end it fails in Validation Step and also my Report is not published in my workspace.
Do you have any suggestion for helping me out...
I am attaching my deploy-report function below: https://github.com/yateet001/Visa/tree/main- Deku1 year ago

This doesn't make alot of sense. In the pipeline you install pbitools, but you seem to use a python function on a pbix at the end. I can only see a power shell module in the repo. Is there something missing?
What are you doing step by step?
If you want to use a existing framework.
- Pbitools - works on pbix and using the old power bi API for report deployment
- Microsoft learn - uses power shell to deploy pbip with new fabric apis
- Fabric cicd - uses python to deploy pbip with fabric apis
