Export Data from Power BI embedded

Hi all,

Is there any way in which I can export my report data (filtered data) in excel/csv format from Power BI embedded report? The export is available from desktop and service but not from the embedded report. I also tried Power Automate button. It is also not supported in embedded analytics. The Rest APIs also seem to support only pdf, ppt and png formats.

Each visual data can be exported to Excel. But I want to export the complete report data.

Is there any way to do this? Help would be appreciated.

Hi @Ruchita-BOIT,

Export feature also available on embedded report. You can choose a visual and click on the ellipsis of the visual to select the export data option.

If this feature does not appear on your side, please check the permission and tenant settings to confirm if admin has disabled the export features.

Thanks for your inputs. But I am interested in exporting the complete filtered report data to excel in one go and not each and every visual. Is there anyway in which I can do it. I was able to achieve that using the Power automate export button. It works for Service but doesnt work on embedded.

After I check on the documents, it seems not able to directly export data from power bi embedded report.
