Hi great community,
We are downloading every day all our PBIX files with the API (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/reports/exportreportingroup). This is meant for having history on structure and content.
For 1 report we do have problems; it gives error 500 when downloading. This happens since a few months, but now we are trying to find the solution. We were able to download the report when we filtered the number of records and the filesize became less. But when it succeeded and we removed some tables from the model it gave 500 again. And after removing a few more tables from the model we were able to download....
So the problem is not clear at all; it gives errors which we can't understand. Is there anything that we can do to make clear what is going wrong and causing the error?
Having a similar issue downloading from app.powerbi directly. Only on a specific report though. Would love to know what the issue is.
I too am getting 500 while downloading any .pbix file. Size of my files is in range 1-1.5GB and in around 240s I just get a res 500
{
message : "Some error occured"
}
No more details regarding what caused the req to fail . I tried with a smaller file and it worked . Is there a way we can modify timeout parameter for standard REST api's ?
Little kick..... Someone???
